Subscription Terms
These Subscription Terms apply when you register for a free or paid membership on Classic Looks. They supplement our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
By subscribing to a Classic Looks membership, you agree to these Subscription Terms in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1 Overview
Classic Looks may offer free and paid membership plans. Plan names, features, and prices are shown on the Website at the time you subscribe and in any confirmation email we send you.
Paid subscriptions are contracts for digital services supplied over the internet. Where UK consumer law applies, you have rights that cannot be excluded — including those described in sections 5 and 6 below.
2 Membership types
| Plan type | Summary |
|---|---|
| Free membership | No charge. Access to features as described on the Website. We may change or withdraw free features with reasonable notice. |
| Paid membership | Recurring or one-off fee as displayed at checkout. Includes premium or member-only features described for your chosen plan. |
Update the table above with your actual plan names and prices when they are fixed (for example “Classic”, “Pro”, monthly vs annual).
3 Ordering and payment
Contract formation
When you complete checkout (or confirm a paid upgrade), you make an offer to subscribe. We accept when we confirm your subscription by email or by enabling paid features on your account.
Prices and tax
Prices are shown in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise at checkout. We may change prices for new subscribers; see section 7 for existing subscribers.
Payment methods
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (for example Stripe or PayPal). We do not store full card details on our servers. By subscribing, you authorise us (via our payment provider) to charge your chosen payment method for the subscription fees due.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, suspend premium access, or cancel your paid subscription after reasonable notice. You remain responsible for any outstanding amounts lawfully due.
4 Renewals and billing period
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (for example monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date shown in your account or confirmation email.
At renewal we will charge the then-current subscription price to your payment method on file.
We will send you clear information before you subscribe about the billing interval, the amount, and how to cancel. For auto-renewing plans, we will remind you in good time before renewal where required by law.
5 How to cancel
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time by:
- using the cancellation option in your account settings (where available); or
- emailing info@ClassicLooks.co.uk from the address linked to your account, stating that you wish to cancel.
Cancellation stops future renewals. You will normally retain paid access until the end of the current billing period already paid for, unless we state otherwise at cancellation or a refund is issued under section 6.
Deleting your account or stopping use of the Website does not automatically cancel a recurring subscription — please cancel as above to avoid further charges.
6 Cooling-off, refunds, and consumer rights
14-day cooling-off (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel distance contracts under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, starting the day after the contract is formed.
Digital content and immediate access: If you ask us to begin supplying digital membership services immediately (for example by ticking a box at checkout or accessing premium features straight away), you acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once supply has begun, and you may be charged for the proportion of the service supplied if you cancel after that point — as permitted by those Regulations.
Refunds
Unless required by law or stated in a separate refund policy:
- fees for the current billing period are generally non-refundable after access has been granted;
- if you cancel within the cooling-off period and have not started using paid features, we will refund any amount paid within 14 days; and
- if we cancel your subscription due to our fault or prolonged outage, we may offer a pro-rata refund or credit at our discretion.
Further detail may appear in our Refund & Cancellation Policy when published.
Faulty digital service
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If our paid membership is defective, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund. Contact us to resolve issues in the first instance.
7 Changes to plans and pricing
We may change membership features, plan names, or prices from time to time.
- For free memberships, changes may take effect with notice on the Website.
- For paid recurring subscriptions, price increases will not apply to your current billing period without your consent. We will give you reasonable advance notice (for example by email) before a higher price applies at renewal, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
8 Service availability
We aim to keep membership features available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, third-party outages, or events outside our reasonable control may affect availability. See our Terms & Conditions for limitation of liability.
